Hampta Pass
A dream-to-reality crossing from Manali's green valleys to the stark landscapes of Lahaul-Spiti.

Expedition Overview
Hampta Pass lies in the Manali and Lahaul-Spiti region and is one of Himachal Pradesh's well-known high-altitude trekking routes. The trek takes travelers through dramatically changing landscapes, including green pastures, mountain valleys, rocky terrain and glacial landscapes. The standard trek generally takes around four days, while an additional day can be included for a visit to Chandratal depending on the itinerary and conditions. The route is popular because of its varied landscapes and accessibility compared with some more demanding Himalayan crossings, but appropriate preparation and guidance are still essential.
